Etihad Rail passengers can now purchase a Nol one-day pass at the moment they book their train ticket, whether the reservation is made online or at a station kiosk. This new fare option directly links the federal railway with Dubai’s public-transport network, giving riders a single ticket that covers both rail and city services. The introduction of the pass is intended to make travel between the inter-emirate line and the urban system smoother for anyone arriving in the emirate.
The pass is delivered as a QR code that appears on a smartphone screen or can be printed if preferred. That code is accepted on the Dubai Metro, the tram system and all RTA bus routes, so passengers no longer need to buy separate tickets after leaving the train. By scanning the same code at each mode’s turnstile, travelers move seamlessly from one service to the next without additional paperwork.

Travelers may select either the standard version of the pass or a premium Gold version that offers additional benefits. A dedicated footbridge connects Al Yalayis Station to the Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station, creating a direct, sheltered interchange between the inter-emirate rail line and the city’s metro network. This physical link shortens walking time and provides a clear route for commuters switching between the two systems.
The one-day pass is valid on all eligible RTA services within the specified Dubai zones, covering every metro line, tram route and a wide range of bus lines. It does not apply to intercity buses or seasonal services, keeping its focus strictly on intra-city travel. Riders therefore enjoy a full city-wide ticket that excludes only long-distance or occasional routes.
